Job Placement

Comparative Literature at UB has a strong placement record. Most students find employment soon after graduating, and many students intent on pursuing an academic career obtain tenure track jobs after a year or two of adjunct teaching. Some of our students do not choose to enter tenure track careers, instead preferring professional careers such as U.S. Customs, alternative teaching/administrative positions or private translation companies.
